Role Overview:
We’re looking for a seasoned Manager/Principal Product Designer to lead the UX/UI strategy for CashKaro and EarnKaro's marketing campaigns and digital experiences. If you have 6–7 years of hands-on experience in product design, a sharp eye for design systems, and thrive on data-led decisions, you’ll fit right in. Your role will be pivotal in turning user insights into delightful, high-converting journeys that fuel business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
UX Strategy & Ownership:
- Own the end-to-end UX for marketing-led journeys across CashKaro & EarnKaro.
- Align designs with KPIs like conversions, drop-offs, and activation.
- Use data insights and lean UX methods to build hypothesis-based experiments.
- Example: For campaigns like Diwali Mega Sale, analyze drop-offs, conduct usability tests, and redesign interfaces (e.g., real-time savings display) to improve conversions.
Design Systems & Scalability:
- Build and manage scalable design systems using atomic principles.
- Standardize tokens, components, colors, and typography across platforms.
- Work closely with engineering to maintain design-dev parity.
- Example: Create unified Figma-Stoybook libraries to eliminate UI inconsistencies between mobile and web.
Research & Analytics-Led Design:
- Lead usability studies, user interviews, heuristic reviews, and surveys.
- Collaborate with product/data teams to analyze funnels, session replays (e.g., Hotjar), and behavior data.
- Own a performance dashboard mapping user journey to design ROI.
- Example: For low EarnKaro onboarding engagement, redesign flows after Hotjar reviews + user interviews.
Innovation & MVP Thinking:
- Drive mini R&D sprints to test prototypes and refine UX.
- Partner with product for MVP planning and feature prioritization.
- Example: Ideate and test “Smart Cashback Suggestions” to increase multi-store usage based on behavior data.
Retention & Activation Optimization:
- Build user flows targeting reactivation, onboarding, and long-term retention.
- Apply gamification and milestone-driven engagement ideas.
- Example: For influencer drop-off on EarnKaro, launch a level-based reward system and tracker to improve motivation.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
- Mentor designers in design principles and career growth.
- Set and track quarterly OKRs, and improve sprint planning via agile tools.
- Example: Streamline prioritization using a task urgency-impact matrix; assign design leads per project for ownership.
Competitive UX Benchmarking:
- Continuously study competitor UX flows, features, and design decisions.
- Conduct teardown sessions and suggest actionable differentiators.
- Example: Analyze "instant withdrawal" from rival apps; work with product/finance to explore UPI-based faster payouts.
Must-Have Skills:
- UX Strategy & IA: Deep experience crafting flows, user journeys, and interaction maps.
- Design Systems: Strong knowledge of tokenization, modular systems, and atomic design.
- Prototyping Tools: Advanced proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD; experience with shared libraries.
- Analytics: Comfortable using Mixpanel, Google Analytics, or Hotjar to track user behavior.
- Product Thinking: Strong understanding of lean UX, MVP prioritization, and outcome-driven design.
- Agile Practices: Experience with Jira, Trello, or Asana in POD-based workflows.
- Engagement Design: Working knowledge of gamification, lifecycle hooks, and retention tactics.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Motion Design: Familiarity with After Effects, Lottie, or Principle to bring interactivity and life to user flows.
